Uzaktan eğitim sistemlerinin kullanımı; Uludağ Üniversitesi örneği

Abstract

Eğitim kurumlarının örgün eğitim sistemini uygularken karşılaştıkları maliyetler, uzaktan eğitim sistemiyle yaptıkları eğitim maliyetlerini geçmektedir. Bunun ispatı üniversitelerin uzaktan eğitime yönelmeleri olarak değerlendirilebilir. Örgün eğitimde ihtiyaç duyulan derslikler, dersliklerin ihtiyaçları, ısınma maliyetleri, öğrencilerin kurumlara gidip gelmesinde harcanılan giderler gibi materyaller bu kurumları bilişim sektörüne yöneltmektedir. Bu yöneliş hem maliyet açısından kurumları rahatlatmakta hem öğrencilerin kendi istedikleri mekânda ve zamanda eğitimlerini alabilmekte hem de akademisyenler eğitimlerini rahat ve teknolojik sanal platformlarda, öğrenci ile iletişimlerini kolaylıkla zaman ve mekân kaydı olmaksızın yapabilmektedirler. Bu çalışmada Uludağ Üniversitesi'nin örgün eğitim sistemlerine entegre etmiş olduğu UKEY sisteminin, öğrenciler tarafından kullanımı, teknoloji kabul modeli çerçevesinde incelenecektir.The costs of formal education systems are higher than those of distance education systems. Materials such as the classrooms needed for formal education, the needs of the classes, heating costs, expenditures of the students on the way to and from the institutions, etc. direct these institutions to the information sector. This orientation relaxes the institutions regarding cost and enables the students to take their place and time in their own education and also the academicians can make their pieces of training with comfortable and technological virtual platforms without having to communicate with the students in time and space easily. In this study, the use of the UKEY system, which Uludag University integrates with the formal education systems, will be examined within the framework of the technology acceptance model.
