Modernleşme sürecinin türk mûsikîsine etkisi: Refik Talat Alpman örneği

Abstract

Modernleşme sürecinin en keskin yaşandığı dönem 20.yy olmuştur. Bu dönemde yaşamış olan sanatçılar hem geleneksel metotlarda eğitim görmüş hem de modern çağa kayıtsız kalamayarak mûsikî anlayışlarını kimi zaman isteyerek kimi zaman istemsiz bir şekilde değiştirmişlerdir. Her ne kadar sanat içerisinde değişim ve dönüşüm engellenemez bir olgu olsa da bu dönemde yaşanan birçok hadisenin sosyolojik ve siyasi olarak kurgulandığı düşünülmektedir. Dışarıdan gelen bu müdahalelerin sanat dünyasına ne gibi bir yansıması olduğu incelenmelidir. Bu sebeple sanatçıların duygu ve düşüncelerini anlamanın, onların bu süreçteki iç dünyalarının durumuna vâkıf olabilmenin yollarından biri de bestelerini incelemekten geçmektedir. Bu sürecin sanatçıların duygu dünyasına etkilerini anlamak adına modernleşme sürecinde yaşamış ve eser vermiş olan Refik Talat Alpman'ın hayatının ve eserlerinin incelemesi uygun bulunmuştur. Sanatçının modernleşme sürecinde yaşamış olması ve günümüzde de eserlerinin bilinip çeşitli mecrâlarda icrâ ediliyor olması seçimimizde etkili olmuştur. Yapılan araştırma ve değerlendirmeler sonucunda Refik Talat Alpman'ın eserlerinde hem geleneksel hem de modernist bir yapı ile karşılaşılmaktadır. Eserleri Geleneksel Türk Mûsikîsi formu ve yapısında bestelerken, melodiler içerisinde çokça Batı müziği kalıplarını ve ifade biçimlerini bulunmaktadır.The period in which the modernization process was experienced sharply was the 20th century. The artists who lived in this period were both trained in traditional methods and could not remain indifferent to the modern era, and sometimes changed their musical understanding by willingly and sometimes involuntarily. Although change and transformation is an inevitable phenomenon in art, it is known that many events in this period were constructed sociologically and politically. It should be examined what kind of reflection these external interventions have on the art world. For this reason, one of the ways to understand the feelings and thoughts of the artists and to be able to gain the status of their inner worlds in this process is to examine their compositions. In order to understand the effects of this process on the emotional world of the artists, it has been found appropriate to examine the life and works of Refik Talat Alpman, who lived and gave works in the process of modernization. The fact that the artist lived in the process of modernization and that her works are known and performed in various mediums today have been influential in our selection. As a result of researches and evaluations, a traditional and modernist structure is encountered in the works of Refik Talat Alpman. While composing his works in the form and structure of Traditional Turkish Music, there are many Western Music patterns and expressions in the melodies.
