dc.description.abstract | The development of a simlified model and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method for the selection of the most suitable CAD/CAM system for sheet metal parts is discussed. One of the important software selection problems in sheet metal parts manufacturing business is due to computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM). The major problem is due to lack of a unique CAD/CAM system selection model and technique. The selection depends on the requirements of manufacturing environment since each company has its own production structure and functionalities. | |
