Suriyeli göçmen öğrencilerin Türk eğitim sistemine entegrasyon sorunu (Bursa Yıldırım ilçesi örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Suriyeli göçmen öğrencilerin Türk eğitim sistemine entegre olurken yaşadıkları sorunların tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini, Bursa Yıldırım ilçesi ortaöğretim programında kayıtlı olan 366 öğrenci, örneklemi ise kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş Bursa Yıldırım ilçesinde eğitim gören 188 gönüllü öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada uygulanan anket, örneklem grubuna yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile uygulanmıştır. Anket formuyla elde edilen veriler SPSS 21.0 for Windows paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Suriyeli öğrencilerin Türkçe yetersizliğinin; okul başarılarını, okul arkadaşları ve öğretmenleri ile uyumlarını olumsuz etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Türkçe dil becerisinin, öğrencilerin göç etmekten memnuniyet düzeyi ve geleceğe dair beklentilerini anlamlı ve olumlu şekilde etkilediği saptanmıştır. Suriyeli öğrencilerin maddi yetersizlikler yaşadığı ve eğitim kapsamında maddi desteğe ihtiyaç duydukları belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study was to determine the problems that Syrian immigrant students experience while integrating into the Turkish education system.The population of the study consists of 366 students enrolled secondary education program in Bursa Yıldırım district and the sample consts 188 volunteer students studying in Bursa Yıldırım district selected by easy sampling method.The questionnaire was applied to the sample group by face to face interview method.The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 for Windows package program. As a result of the research, it is found out that the Syrian students' lack of Turkish affects their school success and their harmony with school friends and teachers. The more improved Turkish language skills they have, the more satisfaction level of the students to migrate.
