Kant felsefesinde teorik alan ile pratik alan arasındaki bağlantı problemi üzerine bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, Kant'ın teorik felsefesi ile pratik felsefesi arasında kurulan bağlantıyı göstermektir. Kant felsefesinin en tartışmalı konularından biri, teorik alan ile pratik alan arasında bir ilişki kurulup kurulamadığı yönündedir. Kimi görüşlere göre Kant, felsefesinin nihai amacı olan sintetik a priori bilgiler temelinde bir sistem kurarak hem teorik hem pratik alanın bağlantılı bir şekilde nesnel ve zorunlu bilgisini ortaya koyabilmiştir. Kimilerine göre ise, bu geçiş projesi başarısız olmuştur. Kant felsefesinin temel konusu sayılabilecek teorik alan ile pratik alan arasındaki bağlantı problemi, bu tezin ana araştırma konusudur. Dolayısıyla bu çalışma Kant felsefesindeki bilgi (teorik) ve eylem (pratik) sorununu nesne edinmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda birinci bölümde, Kant'ın teorik felsefesi ele alınarak epistemoloji anlayışı ortaya konulmaktadır. Başka deyişle, Kant'ın felsefeyi bir bilim olarak kurmaktan ne anladığı gösterilmektedir. Ve daha sonra, teorik alanın sınırları belirlenerek pratik alana geçişin olanağının koşulu gösterilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Buradan hareketle, ikinci bölümde, Kant'ın pratik felsefesi, yani etik anlayışı incelenmektedir. Nesnel ve evrensel niteliklere sahip (sintetik a priori bilgilere dayalı) bir etiğin bilgisi verilmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde bilme yetileri (akıl ve anlama yetisi), isteme yetisi ve yargı yetisi gibi temel yetiler arasında kurulan bağlantılar açıklanarak teorik alandan pratik alana geçişin nasıl bağlantılandırıldığı gösterilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, yargı yetisi aracılığıyla sağlanan bu bağlantı sonucunda oluşan birliğin adı olan teleoloji bilimiyle, birlik ve bütünlük içerisinde, Kant'ın felsefeyi bir bilim olarak nasıl ortaya koyduğu gösterilmeye çalışılmaktadır.

The aim of this thesis is to show the connection between Kant's theoretical and practical philosophy. One of the most controversial issues in Kant's philosophy is whether a relationship between the theoretical and the practical realms can be established. According to some views, Kant was able to establish a system based on synthetic a priori knowledge, which is the ultimate aim of his philosophy, and to present objective and necessary knowledge of both the theoretical and practical realms in an integrated manner. According to some commentators, on the other hand, this transition project has failed. The problem of the connection between the theoretical realm and the practical realm, which can be considered as the main subject of Kant's philosophy, is the main research topic of this thesis. Therefore, this study takes as its object the problem of knowledge (theoretical) and action (practical) in Kant's philosophy. For this purpose, in the first part, Kant's theoretical philosophy is discussed and his view of epistemology is presented. In other words, what Kant understood by establishing philosophy as a science is put forth. Then, by demarcating the limits of the theoretical realm, an attempt is made to show the conditions of the possibility of a transition to the practical realm. From this point of view, the second part analyzes Kant's practical philosophy, that is, his ethics. The knowledge of an ethics with objective and universal qualities (based on synthetic a priori knowledge) is thus given. The third section explains the interconnections between basic faculties such as knowing (reason and understanding), willing and the judgment, and shows how the transition from the theoretical to the practical realm is linked. As a result, with the science of teleology, which is the name of the unity formed as a result of this connection through the faculty of judgment, a demonstration of how Kant presents philosophy as a science in unity and integrity is proposed.
