Patristik dönemde Adversus Judaeos geleneği: Tertullian'ın Adversus Judaeos'u örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Patristik Dönem Adversus Judaeos geleneğinden hareketle Yahudilik ve Yahudilere dair çeşitli eserler ve konular, Yahudi-karşıtlığının kökenini bulmak amacıyla ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca Adversus Judaeos geleneği de müstakil bir şekilde tetkik edilmiştir ve Tertullian'ın Adversus Judaeos'u da Yahudilik ve Yahudilere dair meseleler açısından incelenmiştir. Tezin birinci bölümünde, miladi ilk dört asırdaki Yahudi-Hristiyan ilişkileri tarihinden bahsedilmiştir. Yine bu bölümde siyasi, iktisadi ve hukuki alanda Hristiyanlar açısından yaşanan müspet gelişmeler, Patristik Dönem Adversus Judaeos geleneğinin gelişimine paralel olan vakıalar açısından tarihsel bir metotla aktarılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, Patristik Dönem'de Adversus Judaeos geleneği, özellikleri, bu dönemle ilgili birtakım kavramlar ve bazı Kilise Babaları'nın eserlerinde Yahudilik ve Yahudilere dair konular ele alınmıştır. Bahsi geçen konular ele alınırken deskriptif metot kullanılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, Tertullian'ın Adversus Judaeos'u, Yasa ile ilgili konular, Mesiyanik konular ve Teolojik konular şeklinde üç başlık altında incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde olduğu gibi bu bölümde de konuları ele alma açısından deskriptif metot kullanılmıştır.

In this study, considering the Patristic Era Adversus Judaeos Tradition, various works and topics concerning Judaism and Jews have been tackled to find the origin of anti-semitism. Also, the Adversus Judaeos tradition has been investigated separately, and Tertullian's Adversus Judaeos, written in this era, has been examined in terms of the topics of Judaism and Jews in the same way. In the first part of the thesis, the history of Jewish-Christian relations in the first four centuries has been brought up. Again, in this part, the positive progressions in favor of Christians that had occurred in the field of political, legal, and economic have been demonstrated in terms of parallel cases that contributed to the improvement of Adversus Judaeos Tradition in the Patristic Era with a historical method. In the second part, the Adversus Judaeos Tradition in the Patristic Era, its characteristics, several concepts related to this era, and the topics about Judaism and Jews in the Church Fathers' works have been discussed with a descriptive method.In the third part, Tertullian's Adversus Judaeos has been inspected in the three titles as the topics related to the Law, the issues about the Messiah, and the theological matters. Again in this part, when dealing with the issues, the descriptive method has been used just as in the second part.
