Three histologically proven gestational herpes cases were presented. All were complaining of itching and vesiculobullous skin lesions. The diagnosis was confirmed by skin biopsies and they all gave a complete response to 1 mg/kg‐day oral prednisolone therapy. No neonatal morbidity was observed. © 1995 Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology
