Obsesif kompulsif bozukluk hastalarında psikolojik esnekliğin araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Obsesif Kompulsif Bozukluk (OKB) tanısı olan ve OKB tanısı olmayan bireylerin psikolojik esneklik düzeylerini tüm bileşenleri ile incelemektir. Araştırma örneklemi, Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Psikiyatri Polikliniği’ne ayaktan başvurmuş ve Obsesif Kompulsif Bozukluk tanısı almış 50 kişi (OKB grubu) ve herhangi bir psikiyatrik hastalığı olmayan 50 kişi (kontrol grubu) olmak üzere toplamda 100 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan kişilerin sosyodemografik özellikleri hakkında bilgi edinmek için “Demografik Bilgi Formu”, OKB şiddetinin ölçülmesi için “Yale-Brown Obsesyon Kompulsiyon Ölçeği”, psikolojik esneklik düzeylerinin ölçülmesi için “Değerler Odaklı Yaşam Ölçeği”, “Bilişsel Kaynaşma Ölçeği”, “Freiburg Kendindelik Envanteri”, “Bağlamsal Benlik Ölçeği”, “Kabul ve Eylem Formu-2” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, OKB grubu ile kontrol grubu arasında psikolojik esneklik düzeyleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmaktadır. Psikolojik esnekliği oluşturan tüm bileşenlerin her birinde OKB grubu ile kontrol grubu istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık göstermiştir. OKB grubunda psikolojik esneklik düzeyinin kontrol grubuna göre daha düşük olduğu bulgulanmıştır. OKB grubu yaşantısal kaçınma ve bilişsel kaynaşma tutumu açısından kontrol grubuna kıyasla daha yüksek seviyeler gösterirken şimdiki anla temas, bağlamsal benlik algısı, değerlerle temas ve adanmış eylemler tutumu açısından daha düşük seviyeler göstermiştir.

The aim of this study is to investigate all the components of psychological flexibility in patients with obsessive compulsive disorder. The research sample consists of 100 participants in total. 50 patients who applied to Uludag University Faculty of Medicine Mental Health and Diseases Outpatient Clinic diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD group) and 50 people without any psychiatric illness (control group). The "Demographic Information Form" was used to gather information about the sociodemographic characteristics of the people participating in the study, the "Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale" was used to measure the obsessive compulsive levels, the "Valued Living Questionnaire", the “Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire”, the “Freiburg Mindfulness Inventory”, the “Self-as-Context Scale” and the “Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II” was used to measure the psychological flexibility levels of the participants. According to the results of the study, there was a statistically significant difference between the OCD group and the control group in terms of psychological flexibility levels. Each component of psychological flexibility exhibited a statistically significant difference between the OCD group and the control group. It was found that the psychological flexibility level in the OCD group was lower compared to the control group. While the OCD group demonstrated higher levels of experiential avoidance and cognitive fusion than the control group, they exhibited lower levels of contact with the present moment, self-as-context, contact with values and committed actions.
