Bursa ilinde üzümsü meyveler ekonomisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, üzümsü meyve sektörünün dünya ve Türkiye genelindeki durumunu inceleyerek, üretim, tüketim, işleme, dış ticaret ve pazarlama açısından sektörün genel çerçevesini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bursa ili özelinde üzümsü meyvelerin ekonomisinin incelendiği bu çalışma, yüksek gelir potansiyeline sahip ürünlerde sektöre yol gösterici olması bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Araştırma konusu olan üzümsü meyvelerle ilgili istatistiki veriler TÜİK, FAOSTAT ve TRADEMAP gibi veri tabanlarından elde edilerek analiz edilmiş ve üretim hacmi, dış ticaret potansiyeli ile tahmini fiyatlar ortaya konulmuştur. Sektörde faaliyet gösteren dış ticaret şirketleri yetkilileri, ziraat mühendisleri, kooperatif başkanları, akademisyenler, yetiştiriciler gibi sektöre hâkim işletme ve kişiler ile yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirilip mevcut durum, sektörün beklentileri ve sorunları analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre Bursa ili özelinde 2030 yılına kadar böğürtlen dışındaki tüm üzümsü meyvelerde üretim artışı olacağı tahmin edilmesine rağmen, toplam üretim değerinde çok az bir artış olacağı öngörülmektedir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda enflasyon oranında düşüş gerçekleşmesi ve reel fiyatların artması durumunda ilerleyen yıllarda üzümsü meyvelerin Bursa ekonomisine olan katkısının daha fazla olacağı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, üzümsü meyve sektörünün gelişmesi ve sürdürülebilir olması için yetiştiricilere teknik destek verilmesi, modern tarım yöntemlerinin ve teknolojilerinin kullanılması, katma değerli ürün üretiminin teşvik edilmesi, denetim mekanizmalarının güçlendirilmesi, üretici birlik ve kooperatiflerinin desteklenmesi, sürdürülebilir tarım için tarımsal uygulama, araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetlerinin desteklenmesi, genç çiftçilerin desteklenmesi, teşvik ve mali destek sağlanması gibi önemli adımlar atılmalıdır. Bu tavsiyeler, sektörün büyümesini ve gelişmesini desteklemek için tarım politikaları için göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.

This study aims to examine the global and Turkish status of the soft fruit sector, with the objective of outlining the overall framework of the industry in terms of production, consumption, processing, foreign trade, and marketing. Focusing on the economy of soft fruits in the Bursa province, this study holds significance as it serves as a guiding source for the sector, particularly in high-income potential products. Statistical data related to the subject of soft fruits were obtained from databases such as TUIK, FAOSTAT, and TRADEMAP. These data were subsequently analysed to reveal production volume, foreign trade potential, and estimated prices. Through face-to-face interviews with key figures in the industry, including representatives of foreign trade companies, agricultural engineers, cooperative heads, academicians, and cultivators, the current state, expectations, and challenges of the sector were analysed. According to the results obtained, it is projected that there will be an increase in production for all soft fruits in the Bursa province except for blackberries until the year 2030. However, despite this increase in production, there is expected to be only a slight rise in the overall production value. The analysis further indicates that if there is a decrease in the inflation rate and an increase in real prices, the contribution of soft fruits to the economy of Bursa is likely to be more substantial in the coming years. In conclusion, to foster the growth and sustainability of the soft fruit sector, several important steps should be taken, including providing technical support to cultivators, adopting modern agricultural methods and technologies, encouraging the production of value-added goods, enhancing inspection mechanisms, supporting producer associations and cooperatives, promoting sustainable agricultural practices through research and development activities, assisting young farmers, and offering incentives and financial support. These recommendations should be taken into account when formulating agricultural policies to facilitate the expansion and development of the sector.
