Kentsel ayrışmada kapalı/korunaklı konut yerleşmelerinin rolü: Bursa örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, kapalı/korunaklı konut yerleşmelerinin kentsel ayrışmadaki rolünün Bursa örneği üzerinden analizi hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, kentsel ayrışma kavramı ve dinamikleri incelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, kapalı/korunaklı konut yerleşmeleri ve tercih edilme nedenleri analiz edilmektedir. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise, Bursa’nın kentsel gelişimi genel olarak değerlendirilmekte ve Bursa ölçeğinde kentsel ayrışmada kapalı/korunaklı konut yerleşmelerinin rolünün tespit edilebilmesi amacı ile 28 katılımcı ile “derinlemesine görüşme yöntemi” kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırma ve bulguları yer almaktadır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Bursa’daki kapalı/ korunaklı konut yerleşmelerinin, kentsel ayrışma olgusunun yanı sıra kentin diğer problemleri ile olan ilişkisi tartışılmaktadır.

This study aims to analyze the role of gated communities within the context of urban segregation through the case of Bursa. In the first part of the study, the notion of urban segregation and its dynamics are examined. In the second part of the study gated communities and their reasons for preference are analysed. In the third part; initially, the urban development of Bursa is evaluated in general; and then in order to determine the role of gated communities within the context of urban segregation through the case of Bursa, findings of the research conducted with 28 participants by using ‘in-depth interview’ method is explored. Finally, the conclusion of this study puts emphasis on the relationship between urban segregation and gated communities in Bursa by considering further problems of the city.
