Kocaeli İli topraklarının kirlilik kaynakları ve topraklar ile ilgili diğer çevre sorunları

Abstract

Bu çalışma; genel anlamda toprak kirliliğini açıklamak, Kocaeli îli'nde toprak kirliliğini yaratan etkenleri belirleyip oluşturduğa çevre sorunlarım incelemek ve elde edilen bulgular yardımıyla kirliliğin önlenmesi için öneriler getirmek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Toprak kirliliğini hava kirliliği, su kirliliği, gübre ve tazım ilaçlarının aşırı kullanımı tarım topraklarının amaç dışı kullanımı, erozyon, katı atıklar gibi aktörlerin oluşturduğu saptanmıştı..Kocaeli için bu aktörler tek tek ele alınmıştır. Kirlilik kaynaklan, bu kaynakların toprağa etkileri ve Kocaeli İli'nde ne tür problemler yarattığı araştırılmıştır. Ü topraklarında; asit yağışlarının yakın bir gelecekte ciddi sorunlar yaratacak boyutlara ulaşacağı, tuzluluk probleminin olduğu, tarım topraklarının sanayi, konut ve diğer hizmetlere ayrıldığı, erozyon sorununun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kan atıkların yarattığı kirlilik probleminin ise çözülmek üzere olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The study was conducted to define the soil pollution in general, to determine the factors creating soil pollution in Kocaeli Province and examine the environmental problems brought by these factors in details and to make suggestions to prevent the pollution by using these data. The soil pollution was determined to be caused by the factors such that air pollution, water pollution, excess use of fertilizers and pesticides, incorrect use of agricultural lands, erosion and solid wastes. These factors were studied seperately for Kocaeli Province. Sources of the pollution, the effects of these sources on soils and the problems caused by them in Kocaeli Province were investigated. The results are that there is a salinity problem in Kocaeli soils in addition to the erosion problem; the agricultural lands in province are being appropriated for industrial, residential and other services; and the acid rains will reach to an extent that can cause serious problems near future. The pollution problem caused by the solid wastes was determined to be solved in next year.
