Özet
Çalışma, ergen genç kızlarda dinî şüphe ve tereddütlerin öznel iyi oluşa etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Teorik kısım olan kavramsal çerçeve, amprik kısım olan yöntem ve bulgular bölümünden oluşan araştırmada verilerin elde edilebilmesi için kişisel bilgi formu, Horozcu’nun Ergenler İçin Dinî İnanç Ölçeği, Eryılmaz’ın "Ergen Öznel İyi Oluş Ölçeği, araştırmacı tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Altemeyer’in Dinî Şüphe ve Tereddüt Ölçeği’nden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formu, Bursa ili ölçeğinde, ortaöğretimde farklı okul türlerinde öğrenim gören, 1582 öğrencinin gönüllü katılımıyla cevaplanmıştır. Veriler, SPSS programı ile istatistiksel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Ölçek puanları arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesinde Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Dinî inanç ve dinî şüphenin öznel iyi oluş üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesi amacıyla ise çoklu regresyon analizi yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada kız öğrencilerin dinî şüphe ile öznel iyi oluş puanları arasında negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Kızlarda dinî inancın öznel iyi oluşu anlamlı düzeyde yordamadığı, dinî şüphenin öznel iyi oluşu anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı görülmektedir. Kız ve erkek öğrencilere ait öznel iyi oluş bağımlı değişkenindeki varyansın dinî inanç ve dinî şüphe bağımsız değişkenleri ile açıklandığı; ancak dinî inancın ve dinî şüphenin erkeklerin öznel iyi oluşu üzerindeki yordayıcılığının anlamlı olmadığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
The study aims to examine the effect of religious doubts and hesitations on subjective well-being in adolescent girls. In the research consisting of the conceptual framework (theoretical part), the method and findings (empirical part), a personal information form, Horozcu's Religious Belief Scale for Adolescents, Eryılmaz's "Adolescent Subjective Well-Being Scale", and Altemeyer's Religious Doubt and Hesitation Scale adapted to Turkish by the researcher were used to obtain data. The survey form was answered with the voluntary participation of 1582 students studying in different types of secondary schools in Bursa province. The data were subjected to statistical analysis with the SPSS program. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationships between the scale scores. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of religious belief and religious doubt on subjective well-being. In the research, a negatively significant relationship was found between the religious doubt and subjective well-being scores of female students. It was observed that religious belief did not significantly predict subjective well-being in girls, while religious doubt significantly predicted subjective wellbeing. It was found that the variance in the dependent variable of subjective wellbeing of male and female students was explained by the independent variables of religious belief and religious doubt; however, the predictive value of religious belief and religious doubt on the subjective well-being of males was not significant.
