Abstract

This paper retrieves bright, dark and singular optical solitons in birefringent fibers using two integration schemes. They are trial equation method and modified simple equation scheme. Bright, dark and singular soliton solutions are revealed using these integration schemes. Additional solutions such as periodic singular waves also naturally emerge from these methodologies.
