Antonin Artaud’nun “Vahşet Tiyatrosu” ile Aacques Lecoq’un “Bufon Tiyatrosu”nda vahşilik ve arınma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Vahşet Tiyatrosu ile Bufon Tiyatrosu arasındaki benzerlikler ve farklılıklar ortaya konulmak istenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, iki tiyatronun da vahşilik ve arınma olguları üzerinde birleştiğini göstermektedir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi uygulanarak literatür taraması gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada, iki tiyatrodaki vahşilik ve arınma olguları psikanaliz üzerinden değerlendirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Vahşet Tiyatrosu’nun günümüzde varlığını koruyamamasının nedenleri saptanmaya çalışılarak ilerlenen bu araştırmada, Vahşet Tiyatrosu’nun bufonlara uyarlanabileceği noktalar belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu nedenle Bufon Tiyatrosu’nun belirsiz tarihi göz önünde bulundurularak bufonların tarihsel süreci aydınlatılmak istenmiş ve sonrasında Jacques Lecoq’un kurduğu Bufon Tiyatrosu’nun bileşenleri saptanmıştır. Bu araştırma sonucunda Vahşet Tiyatrosu’nun uygulanabilirliğinin Bufon Tiyatrosu ile sağlanabileceği görülmüş ve Bufon Tiyatrosu, Jacques Lecoq’un şekillendirdiği yöntemden sapmadan yeniden anlamlandırılmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the similarities and differences between Theatre of Cruelty and Buffoon Theatre. The findings obtained show that both theatres converge on the phenomena of wildness and purification. In this study, where literature was reviewed by applying qualitative research method, the cases of wildness and purification in two theatres were evaluated and interpreted through pschoanalysis. In this research, which progressed by trying to determine the reasons why Theatre of Cruelty cannot maintain its existence today, it was attempted to determine the points where Theatre of Cruelty can be adapted to buffoons. For this reason, given the uncertain history of Buffoon Theatre, the historical process of buffoons was wanted to be enlightened and then the components of Buffoon Theatre founded by Jacques Lecoq were determined. As a result of this research, it was seen that the applicability of Theatre of Cruelty could be achieved with Buffoon Theatre was re-meaning without deviating from the method that Jacques Lecoq shaped.
