Ulusal ve uluslararası düzenlemeler bağlamında iç kontrol sisteminin etkinliğinin ölçülmesi- Borsa İstanbul şirketlerinde uygulama

Abstract

Küreselleşen dünyada işletmeler hızlı bir değişim sürecinden geçmektedirler. İşletmelerin faaliyet hacimlerinin genişlemesi ve karmaşıklaşması küreselleşmenin beraberinde getirdiği rekabetçi ortamla birleşince etkin bir iç kontrol sistemine olan ihtiyaçta arttırmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı BİST 100 ulusal endekste işlem gören işletmelerin iç kontrol birimlerinde çalışan yöneticilerin, bu sisteme yönelik mevcut uygulamalarını değerlendirmek suretiyle iç kontrol sistemlerinin etkinliğini araştırmaktır. Çalışmamızda BİST- 100 Ulusal endekste işlem gören işletmelerin iç kontrol sistemlerinin etkinliğini ölçmek maksadıyla COSO değerlendirme modelinin bileşenlerini temel alan bir anket çalışması ve sonucunda elde edilen çıktılar değerlendirip bir sonuca ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.Businesses are going through a rapid process in globalizing world. Businesses of operating volume expansion and complexity combine with competitive environment which is bring about by globalization has increased need for an effective internal control system. The objective of this study is investigate the effectiveness of the internal control system through evaluating current executions of managers who works in audit department of companies trading in the national 100 index on Istanbul stock exchange. In our study, businesses that is traded in the national 100 index on Istanbul stock exchange make a survey that is based on components of COSO evaluation model, so as to measure effectiveness of the internal control system. And later, we evaluate outputs obtained by us and tried to reach a conclusion.
