Yaratıcı drama eğitiminin ortaöğretim dönemi çocuklarının tiyatral becerisine katkısı

Abstract

Yaparak, yaşayarak öğrenme imkânı sunan yaratıcı drama yöntemi, bir konunun, bir durumun, bir amacın, bir fikrin gözlem ve veya yaşam deneyimlerini kullanarak anlamlandırılması, canlandırılmasıdır. Sosyal bilimlerden fen bilimlerine uzanan geniş bir yelpazede drama atölyesinin yaparak yaşayarak öğrenme düsturu sayesinde derslerden verim alındığı bilinmektedir. Pek çok alanda aktif öğrenme sağlayabilecek yaratıcı drama tekniği, güzel sanatlar liseleri ve veya lise grubuna tiyatro eğitimi vermeyi amaçlayan kimi özel kuruluşlarca da kullanılması gereken bir yöntemdir. Genç- yetişkin yaş grubuna lisans sürecinde uygulamalı ve kuramsal olarak öğretilen kimi tiyatro kuramlarının 12-18 yaş orta öğrenim grubuna öğretilirken yaratıcı drama yönteminin katkılarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma Bursa ili Nilüfer ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı, sanat eğitimi veren özel bir kurumda 30 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Daha önce tiyatro eğitimi almamış araştırma grubunun verileri anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Ayrıca fotoğraf ve video kayıtları da tutulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler nitel yöntemde kullanılan içerik analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiş, ulaşılan bulgular kategorilere ayrılarak yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucuna bakıldığında; klasik eğitim anlayışından ziyade, öğrencinin aktif olduğu bu sistemde, özellikle bu yaş grubunda öğrenmenin kolaylaştığı sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.

The creative drama method, which offers the opportunity to learn by doing and experiencing, is the interpretation and animation of a subject, a situation, a goal, an idea using observation and life experiences. It is known that thanks to the motto of learning by doing and experiencing, drama workshops in a wide range from social sciences to natural sciences provide efficiency from the lessons. Creative drama technique, which can provide active learning in many fields, is a method that should also be used by fine arts high schools or some private institutions that aim to provide theater education to high school groups. It is aimed to determine the contribution of the creative drama method whilete aching some theater theories, which are taught theoretically and appliedly to the young-adult age group during the undergraduate process, to the 12-18 age group. The research was carried out on 30 students in a private institution that provides art education, affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, in the Nilüfer district of Bursa. The data of the research group, who had not received theater training before, were collected through a questionnaire. Photo and video recordings were also kept. The data obtained in the research were analyzed with the content analysis technique used in the qualitative method, and the findings were interpreted by dividing them into categories. Considering the results of the research; In this system, in which the student is active rather than the classical education approach, it has emerged that learning becomes easier, especially in this age group.
