dc.description.abstractIn recent years, developments in computer aided design and production instruments led to significant changes in engineering design and processes. One of the main changes is in Reverse Engineering (RE) approaches. Increasing the applications of RE technology will cause the needs of qualified technical personnel of the companies in this area. In this study, curricula modifications and teaching method presented for increasing the effectiveness of teaching RE technology to the students in the Mechanical Department. This method based on student's group study with live projects collaboration with Industry. It is observed that considerable increased learning ability, speed and motivations of the students.
