Abstract

This study aims at acquiring and reconstructing compressed sensing accelerated phosphorus MR spectroscopic imaging (P-31-MRSI) of human brain in vivo. Accelerated P-31-MRSI volunteer data were acquired using pulse and acquire with compressed sensing at 3T. k-space data was randomly undersampled for a five fold scan time reduction while preserving the central portion, and reconstructed using three dimensional compressed sensing algorithm. This study showed that compressed sensing method could be applied for faster P-31 MR spectroscopic imaging of human brain at 3T.
