Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi’nin Meryem Ana hutbelerine reddiye: Îkâzu’l-Mü’minîn fî Reddi’s-Salîbîn eserinin günümüz Türkçesine çevirisi ve dinler tarihi açısından tahlili

Abstract

Müslümanlar fetihler sonucunda farklı dinlerdeki insanların yaşadığı coğrafyalara yerleşmiş ve onlarla daha yakından iletişime geçmiştir. Bu yerleşme ve tanışıklık özellikle ehli kitap kapsamında değerlendirilen Yahudi ve Hıristiyanların daha geniş açıdan tanınmasını gerekli kılmıştır. Bu minvalde Müslüman âlimler arasında kapsamlı bir literatür yazımı başlamıştır. Literatürün büyük kısmını savunma, bilgi verme ve ispatlama gayesi oluşturmuştur. Reddiye olarak isimlendirilen bu telifler, Osmanlı Dönemi’nde de kaleme alınmış ve özellikle 19. yüzyılda yaygınlık kazanmıştır. Reddiye geleneğiyle kaleme alınan “Meryem Ana Hutbelerine Reddiye: Îkâzu’l-Mü’minîn fî Reddi’s-Salîbîn” adlı risaleyi incelememizdeki temel amaç Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi’nin yazmış olduğu eseri günümüz Türkçesine kazandırmak ve Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönem sosyolojik ve dinî yönünü tahlil etmektir. Nitekim o dönem yoğunlaşan misyonerlik faaliyetleri ulemayı dikkate yöneltmiş ve yazılan eserler vasıtasıyla zengin bir literatürün oluşumuna katkı sunmuştur. Çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi’nin hayatına, eserlerine, devlet nezdindeki vazifelerine, ilmi yolculuğa ve reddiye yazım geleneğine yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi’nin eserinde adını zikrettiği ve çalışmasından beğeniyle bahsettiği “Tuhfetü’l Erîb” adlı eserin yazarı mühtedi Abdullah Tercüman’ın hayatı ve eseri hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümünde yazarın “Meryem Ana Hutbelerine Reddiye: Îkâzu’l-Mü’minîn fî Reddi’s-Salîbîn” adlı eserinin ana konularına yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümde İsa’nın tanrısallığı ve beşeriyeti, Hristiyanlıkta ve İslam’da Hz. Meryem’in konumu, İncillerin tahrifi, Kutsal Kitap’ta Hz.Muhammed’in müjdelenmesi ve Osmanlı Dönemi misyoner faaliyetleri ele alınmıştır. Son bölümünde ise Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi’nin Osmanlı Türkçesi ile basılan eserinin günümüz Türkçesi versiyonuna yer verilmiştir.

As a result of the conquests, Muslims settled in geographies where people of different religions lived and came into closer contact with them. This settlement and acquaintance necessitated a wider recognition of Jews and Christians, who were considered within the scope of Ahl al-Bayt. In this context, a comprehensive literature began to be written by Muslim scholars. A large part of this literature was devoted to defense, information, and proof. These writings, called refutations, were also written during the Ottoman period and became widespread, especially in the 19th century. In this study, the treatise written by Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi under the title of "Refutation to the Sermons of the Virgin Mary Îkâzu'l-Mü'minîn fî Reddi's-Salîbîn" was researched. The aim of the study is to translate the work into modern Turkish and to analyze the sociological and religious aspects of the last period of the Ottoman Empire because the missionary activities that intensified in that period attracted the attention of the ulema and contributed to the formation of a rich literature with the works written. In the first part of our study, Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi's life, his works, his duties before the state, his scholarly journey, and the tradition of writing refutations are included. In addition, information is given about the life and work of Abdullah Tercüman, the author of the work "Tuhfetü'l Erîb", which Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi mentioned in his work and mentioned his work with admiration. In the second part, the author's "Refutation to the Sermons of the Virgin Mary: Îkâzu'l-Mü'minîn fî Reddi's-Salîbîn", the main titles of his work are given. In this section, the deity and humanity of Jesus, the position of Mary in Christianity and Islam, the falsification of the Gospels, the glad tidings of the Prophet Muhammad in the Gospels, and missionary activities in the Ottoman period are discussed. In the last chapter, the translation of Seyyid Hasan Sabri Efendi's work published in Ottoman Turkish into today's Turkish is given.
