dc.description.abstractToday, relationship model based on patient participation is preferred in the patient-physician relationship. One of the conditions of this relationship is to respect to the patient autonomy. Patient autonomy takes place in the patient rights. However, states that affect the autonomy must be well evaluated. In this paper, the concept of autonomy, its characteristics and factors that affect the autonomy is discussed.
