Uzun süreli difenil hidantoin kullanımına bağlı gelişen serebellar atrofinin komputerize tomografi ile incelenmesi

Abstract

Diphenylhydantoin (DPH) toksik etkiyle akut serebellar tablo ortaya çıkarması yanında uzun süreli kullanımında serebelluma etkileri üzerinde klinik, radyolojik ve histopatolojik çalışmalar yayınlanmıştır. Bu konuda hala bazı aydınlatılmamış noktalar vardır. Çalışmamızda uzun süreli DPH kullanan 50 epileptik hastanın klinik ve radyolojik bulguları incelenmiş ve aradaki ilişki araştırılmıştır.Beyonds the acute cerebellar findings of DPH, there are clinical, radiological and histopathological studies about the long term DPH therapy. This subject needs further investigations with it's still unlightened points. In our study, we investigated the clinical and radiological findings and the correlations between them of 50 epileptic patients who are under long-term DPH therapy.
