Abstract

Our persent time , all parts of the society have been living throughsome problems such as ; failure in adaptation to the developments in thescience and technology and fulfilling needs of the information age whileexpecting solutions to be found to these problems. Establishing the qualityorganization in the Turkish Education System is the action to be taken both tofind solutions to these problems and to keep pace with the changes in thescience and technology. Besides ,Total Quality Management is a universalprogress.It is a philosophy and a form of approach beyond borders.It is in acontinuous improvement itself while foreseeing a continuous change. Startingwith this point,we have tried to explain the effects of the total qualitymanagement on the education quality and its application in education field.Aprivate institution which has the TQM has been investigated andcomparedwith another school which doesn't have TQM. And the differenceshave been revealed.
