Yahudilikte Yeşu ve dönemi

Abstract

Yahudi tarihi açısından Musa çok önemli bir şahsiyettir. O, İsrailoğulları'nın en büyük peygamberlerinden biridir. Yahudi şeriatının temelleri Musa aracılığıyla atılmıştır. Böylesine güçlü bir Peygamberden sonra onun getirdiği şeriatı ve halk nazarında edindiği otoriteyi koruma görevi bir hayli zor olsa da Yeşu, liyakati sayesinde İsrailoğulları'nın saygınlığını kazanmış ve Rabb'in kendisine verdiği görevleri başarı ile yerine getirmiştir. Rab, tıpkı Musa'yı desteklediği gibi Yeşu'yu da desteklemiş böylece İsrailoğulları için yeni bir dönem başlamıştır. Bu çalışma iki ayrı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Yeşu'nun hayatı, şahsiyeti ve Musa ile benzerlikleri incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde de Tevrat'ın Yeşu bölümü analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Moses is a very important figure in Jewish history. He is one of the greatest prophets of the Children of Israel. The foundations of the Jewish Sharia were laid through Moses. After such a powerful Prophet, the task of protecting the Shari'ah he brought and the authority he gained in the eyes of the people was very difficult, but Joshua, thanks to his merit, gained the respect of the Israelites and successfully fulfilled the duties assigned to him by the Lord. The Lord supported Joshua just as He had supported Moses, and thus a new era began for the Children of Israel. This study consists of two separate parts. In the first part, Joshua's life, personality and similarities with Moses are analyzed. In the second part, the Joshua section of the Torah is analyzed.
