Çağdaş teknolojik gelişmelerin detay oluşumundaki rolünün mimarlık ofisleri üzerinden irdelenmesi

Abstract

Mimarlıkta detay tasarım süreci, farklı disiplinlerin entegrasyonunu zorunlu kılan çok yönlü bir yapıya sahiptir. Bu bağlamda, içinde bulunduğumuz çağda yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler, mimarlıkta detay tasarım süreçlerine önemli katkılar sunmakta ve yeni olanaklar yaratmaktadır. Buradan hareketle, tez çalışmasının amacı, mimarlık disiplininde detayın üstlendiği rolü ve çağdaş teknolojilerin detay tasarım sürecine olan etkilerini analiz etmektir. Bu doğrultuda yürütülen çalışmada, mimarlık pratiğinde detay tasarımına ilişkin kavramsal çerçeve kapsamlı bir biçimde ele alınmış ve çağdaş teknolojik gelişmelerle etkileşimi üzerine sistematik bir literatür taraması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tez çalışmasında nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında, farklı mesleki deneyimlere ve uzmanlık alanlarına sahip 10 mimar ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılarak görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen veriler, nitel veri analizi yazılımı olan MAXQDA programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, tablo ve grafikler aracılığıyla karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular, detayın, mimari tasarım pratiğinin bütüncül kurgusunda merkezi bir rol üstlendiğini, alınan tasarım kararlarını doğrudan etkilediğini ve tasarım sürecine yön verdiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca dijital teknolojiler ve yeni malzeme kullanımları da detay tasarım sürecine önemli katkılar sunmaktadır. Araştırmada yer alan katılımcılar, detay oluşturma sürecinde disiplinler arası iş birliğinin, tasarımların uygulanabilirliğinin, ekonomik koşulların, tasarım sürecinin bütünlüğünün, etkili iletişimin ve detayın bağlama uyumunun kritik önem taşıdığını belirtmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalarda çağdaş teknolojik gelişmelerin daha verimli ve yerinde kullanılması, disiplinler arası iş birliklerine önem verilmesi ve detay tasarım sürecinin bütüncül bir anlayışla ele alınması gerektiği önerilmektedir.

The detail design process in architecture has a multifaceted structure that necessitates the integration of different disciplines. In this context, the technological developments experienced in the current era provide significant contributions to the detail design processes in architecture and create new opportunities. Based on this, the aim of the thesis study is to analyze the role of detail in the discipline of architecture and the effects of contemporary technologies on the detail design process. In this study, the conceptual framework regarding detail design in architectural practice was comprehensively addressed and a systematic literature review was conducted on its interaction with contemporary technological developments. The qualitative research method was adopted in the thesis study. Within the scope of the research, interviews were conducted with 10 architects with different professional experiences and areas of expertise using the semi-structured interview technique. The data obtained as a result of the interviews were analyzed using the MAXQDA program, which is a qualitative data analysis software. The obtained data were evaluated and interpreted comparatively through tables and graphs. The findings obtained in the research show that detail plays a central role in the holistic structure of architectural design practice, directly affects the design decisions taken and directs the design process. In addition, digital technologies and new material usage also make significant contributions to the detail design process. Participants in the research stated that interdisciplinary collaboration, applicability of designs, economic conditions, integrity of the design process, effective communication and adaptation of detail to context are of critical importance in the detail creation process. In this direction, it is suggested that contemporary technological developments should be used more efficiently and appropriately in future studies, importance should be given to interdisciplinary collaborations and the detail design process should be addressed with a holistic approach.
