Bursa, Hisar-Arkeopark kazılarından lüle buluntuları

Abstract

Başta tütün olmak üzere farklı keyif verici bitkileri içmek için kullanılan lüle, sigara alışkanlığının ortaya çıkışına kadar Osmanlı sosyal hayatının önemli bir unsuru olmuştur. Tütün ve tütün içme aparatı olan lüle, dünyanın diğer bölgelerinde olduğu gibi Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda da kullanılmış ve üretilmiştir. Türkiye'deki müzelerin koleksiyonlarında ve depolarında çok sayıda lüle yer almaktadır. Lüleler genellikle iki gruba ayrılır. Saray için üretilenler ve halk için üretilenler. Saray için üretilenler genellikle “Tophane İşi” olarak adlandırılır. Diğer grup ise Halk Tipi'dir. Bu çalışmanın konusu olan Bursa-Tophane Bölgesi'nde çeşitli zamanlarda yapılan kazılarda ortaya çıkarılan lüleler, önemli bir eser koleksiyonu oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, 2019 kazı sezonunda keşfedilen 46 lüle incelenmiştir. Lüle eserleri 18. ve 19. yüzyıllara tarihlenmektedir. Ayrıca, araştırma çizim ve resimlerle desteklenmiştir.

The lüle, which was used to smoke different recreational plants, especially tobacco, was an important element of Ottoman social life until the emergence of the cigarette habit. As in other parts of the world, tobacco and tobacco smoking apparatus were used and produced in the Ottoman Empire as well. There are many nozzles in the collections and storages of museums in Turkey. Lüle are generally divided into two groups. Those produced for the palace and those produced for the public. Those produced for the palace are usually called “Tophane Work”. The other group is the Folk Type. The skeins unearthed during excavations in Bursa-Tophane Region, the subject of this study, constitute an important collection of artifacts. In this study, 46 nozzles discovered during the 2019 excavation season were analyzed. The nozzle artifacts date to the 18th and 19th centuries. The study is also supported by drawings and paintings.
