In this study, the lateral vibration analysis of axially loaded carbon nanotubes (CNTs) with deformable ends is investigated considering different configurations: armchair, chiral, and zigzag. The axial load affecting the CNTs is considered to generate both compression and tension. The analysis is based on Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory to capture size effects. To investigate the vibration of CNTs under deformable boundary conditions, the Fourier sine series and Stokes' transformation are used together. The solution to the eigenvalue problem resulting from this combined use provides the vibration frequencies of CNTs under various loading and boundary conditions.
