1963-2023 yılları arasında Bursa Osmangazi’de gelişen konut alanlarının kentsel yeniden üretim sürecinin yoğunluk bağlamında değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, Türkiye’de sanayileşme sürecinin başladığı 1960’lardan bu yana Bursa Osmangazi’de gelişen dört farklı konut yerleşim dokusunun nüfus ve yapı yoğunluğu eğilimlerini analiz ederek, kentsel dönüşüm süreçlerinde bütüncül bir bakış açısını sağlayacak, yalnızca yapıların değil, aynı zamanda kentsel parçaların bugünkü ihtiyaçlar ve olanaklar doğrultusunda kentsel yeniden örgütlenmesi potansiyellerini değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla dünyadan ve ülkemizden kentsel konut alanlarında gerçekleştirilen kentsel dönüşüm örnekleri incelenmiş, yoğunlukların analiz edilmesi ve yorumlanabilmesi amacıyla yoğunluk regülasyon analizi amaçlı formülasyon uygulanmıştır. Yöntemler, nüfus değişimlerinin ve yapı ile nüfus yoğunluklarının ayrıntılı bir analizini içermektedir. Çalışma, deprem riski taşıyan bölgelerde yenilemenin aciliyetini yönetmek için kent ölçekli çözümler gerekliliğini vurgulamaktadır.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the trends in population and building density of four different housing settlement patterns that have developed in Bursa Osmangazi since the beginning of the industrialization process in Turkey in the 1960s. By analyzing these trends, it aims to provide a holistic perspective on urban transformation processes, not only in terms of buildings but also by evaluating the potential for the urban reorganization of urban parts according to today’s needs and opportunities. For this purpose, examples of urban transformation in urban housing areas from around the world and our country have been examined, and a formulation for density regulation analysis has been applied to analyze and interpret densities. The methods include a detailed analysis of population changes and building and population densities. Furthermore, the urban environment, building, and user relations, which can be qualified as urban structure, have been considered as a whole. Consequently, the areas intended to be transformed have been evaluated not only as building stock but also as parts containing urban integrity, and their development processes in the past have been analyzed in terms of process and texture. The study emphasizes the necessity of city-scale solutions to manage the urgency of renewal in earthquake-prone areas.
