dc.description.abstract	CTHSOS, M = 140.1 amu, crystallizes in space group PJ with a = 4.50(2) A, b = 6.68(3) A, c = 11.53(8) A, a = 88.7(3)°, ß = 87.48(2)°, y = 70.62(2)°, V = 326.64 Z = 2, D^ =1.424, D, = 1.424 gcm-\ A(MoA:a) = 0.71069 A, n = 0.7mm-' and R = 0.071 for 745 unique reflecdons. The epoxide rings are attached to the cycloheptane in syn-conformation.The hydroxy group is in equatorial position.
