dc.description.abstractDuring the research period (1997-2000), lactation length, actual milk yield, 305-day milk yield and dry period means were determined as 293.1±01 days, 4988 ± 4 kg, 4535 ± 3 kg and 87 days, respectively; actual and 305 - day milk fat yields were 196.3 kg and 220.95 kg, respectively, and actual and 305 day milk fat contents were 4.33% and 4.05% respectively. Calving year (lactation length, actual milk yield production, 305-day milk production, dry period), calving age (lactation length), calving season (305-day milk production) had significant effect on several milk production traits.
