Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın hayatı, sanatı ve tiyatro eserleri

Abstract

Cumhuriyetin ilânı sonrasında halkın zihin dünyasının geliştirilmesinde ve toplumsal yapının yeniden şekillendirilmesinde edebiyat, eğitim faaliyetleri ve o devrin sanatçıları ön plana çıkmıştır. Toplumda kazanılan zaferlerin ve vatan uğruna yapılan mücadelelerin topluma aktarımı ile gelecek neslin bilinçli bir şekilde yetiştirilmesinde tiyatro türü tercih edilen bir tür olmuştur. Erken Dönem Cumhuriyet edebiyatı yılları içerisinde Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca da eserleriyle bu anlayışın içerisinde yer almıştır. Bu çalışmanın konusu Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın hayatı, sanatı, ve tiyatro eserlerinin incelemesidir. Bu bağlamda Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın hayatı, yayıncılığı ve edebî kişiliği tanıtılarak tiyatro eserleri hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler verilmiş; tiyatroları tematik yönden incelenmiştir. Sanatçının on iki piyesi nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Tezin giriş bölümünde araştırma konusunun seçilme nedeni, önemi, bu konu hakkında daha öncesinde yapılan çalışmalar, araştırma yöntemleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Tezin birinci bölümünde Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın hayatı, yayıncılığı ve edebî kişiliğinden bahsedilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın tiyatro faaliyetleri hakkında bilgiler verilip tiyatrolarının ayrıntılı tahlili yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca’nın tiyatrolarının tematik incelemesine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde ise elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiş, ulaşılan sonuca yer verilmiş ardından da tezde yararlanılan kaynaklar belirtilmiştir.

After the declaration of the Republic, literature, educational activities and artists of that period came to the fore in developing the minds of the people and reshaping the social structure. Theater genre was a preferred genre in transferring the victories gained in the society and the struggles made for the homeland to the society and in raising the next generation consciously. Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca also took place in this understanding with his works during the early Republican literature years. The subject of this study is the examination of Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca's life, art and theater works. In this context, Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca's life, publishing and literary personality are introduced and detailed information is given about his theater works; his theaters are examined thematically. Twelve plays of the artist were analyzed using the content analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. In the introduction section of the thesis, information is given about the reason for choosing the research topic, its importance, previous studies on this topic and research methods. In the first part of the thesis, Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca's life, publishing and literary personality are mentioned. In the second part, information is given about Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca's theater activities and a detailed analysis of his theaters is made. In the third part, a thematic examination of Mehmet Faruk Gürtunca's theaters is given. In the conclusion part of the study, the obtained findings are evaluated, the conclusion is given and then the sources used in the thesis are stated.
