Özet
As an alternative to traditional printmaking techniques, the collagraphy technique is described as an experimental genre that has found a wider application area since the 1940s. The aim of this research is to reveal how materials from daily life can be used in printmaking as an alternative to the harmful chemicals commonly used in printmaking and how different effects can be created through a series of experiments with the collagraphy technique in the printmaking workshop. For this purpose, five experiments consisting of five different materials and four different paper types were planned and an experimental research was carried out for six months. In the data collection process of the research, observations were made and in the forms developed to be used in these observations; a rating scale based on the dependent variables of paint transfer, tone values, paper deformation, mold deformation, edition tracking , which are the basic principles of printmaking, was used. In the process of analysis, in the experiments in which the dependent variables were observed, the changes in the values of the basic qualities of the printmaking in the collagraphy technique were recorded. In the findings of the research, the remarkable data of the dependent variables, which were the basis of the analysis, according to papers and patterns were presented in graphs and the results obtained were written by associating them with the objectives. Accordingly, Dye Transfer gave highly positive results in all experiments and paper types. All of the paper types examined were observed to be suitable for printmaking. In general, no deformation of the mold was observed in the experiments and all mold types could make edition tracking.
