Microscopic theory is applicable for a small number of particles. The derivation of macroscopic expressions from the microscopic theory can be conducted using suitable averaging procedure. We assume the existence of particles with an electric and magnetic charge (dyons) in medium. Thus, Maxwell equations and their symmetric forms in vacuum is obtained using microscopic theory and averaging process. © 2013 IEEE.
