Mehmet Şemseddin Ulusoy'un Eş'ȃr-ı Şemsȋ adlı dȋvȃn'ı (inceleme-metin)

Abstract

Mehmet Şemseddin (Ulusoy) Efendi Dinȋ-Tasavvufȋ Türk Edebiyatı'nın son devir önemli temsilcilerinden olan bir şairdir. 1867-1936 yılları arasında yaşamış olan şair 62 eser kaleme almış velud bir yazardır. Müellifin bu kitaplarının en önemlilerinden biri şüphesiz "Eş'ȃr-ı Şemsȋ" adlı dȋvȃnıdır. Yaşadığı dönemin önemli mutasavvıflarından ve Halvetiyye tarikatına mensup olan şair Mehmet Şemseddin (Ulusoy) Efendi, Bursa'daki Niyȃzȋ-i Mısrȋ Dergȃhı'nın son şeyhidir. Bu çalışmanın, hem Klasik Türk Edebiyatı Tarihi açısından, hem de Dinȋ-Tasavvufȋ Türk Edebiyatı Tarihi ve Türk Tasavvuf Tarihi açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Çalışmanın giriş ve 1.bölümünde Mehmet Şemseddin Efendi'nin yaşadığı döneminin siyasi ve kültürel durumu, hayatı, eserleri, edebȋ şahsiyeti, dȋvȃnının teknik ve muhtevȃ özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. 2. Bölümde ise "Eş'ȃr-ı Şemsȋ" adlı dȋvȃnın, ilmȋ usûl ve yöntemlerle yazı çevirimi yapılmıştır. Böylelikle Mehmet Şemseddin Efendi'nin Klasik Türk Edebiyatı Tarihi ve Dinȋ-Tasavvufȋ Edebiyat Tarihimizdeki yeri ve önemi belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Mehmed Şemseddin (Ulusoy) Efendi is a poet who is one of the important representatives of religious-sufic literatüre in the last era. Mehmed Şemseddin who lived between the years of 1867 and 1936, is a productive writer with his 62 books. Undoubtedly, one of his prominent works is the divan titled "Eş'ar-ı Şemsi". Mehmed Şemseddin Efendi -one of the important sufis in his period- is a member of Halvetiyye cult and the last sheikh of Niyazi-i Mısri dervish lodge in Bursa. It is considered that this study is important from the aspects of the History of Classical Turkish Literature, the History of Religious- Sufistic Turkish Literature and the History of Turkish Sufism. In the introduction and first chapter, the political and cultural atmosphere of Mehmed Şemseddin Efendi's era, his life, his works, his literal personality, technical and content characteristic of his 'Divan' are examined. The second chapter of this study is consist of transcription of the divan titled "Eş'ar-ı Şemsi", with scientific methods. Hereby, this study is an effort to state Mehmed Şemseddin Efendi's place and importance in the History of Classical Turkish Literature and the History of Religious- Sufistic Turkish Literature.
