Hurûfu’l-Kur’ân bağlamında Hatîb-i Ayasofya Hamdullah b. Hayreddin’in vesîletü’l-itkân fî şerhi rusûhi’l-lisan fî hurûfi’l- Kur’ân adlı eseri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 16 yy’da yaşamış aynı zamanda uzun yıllar Ayasofya Camii’nde hatiplik yaptığından Hatîb-i Ayasofya unvanıyla meşhur olmuş önemli kırâat âlimlerinden Hamdullah b. Hayreddin’in (ö. 983/1575) Vesîletü’l-İtkân fî Şerhi Rusûhi’l-Lisân fî Hurûfi’l-Kur’ân isimli eseri çerçevesinde Kur’ân harflerinin mahreçlerindeki fonetik yapıları ve eda keyfiyetleri tecvid ilmi disiplini içerisinde hem pratik hem de teorik olarak akademik bir üslupla incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Müellif eserininin yazma nedenini, zamanındaki pekçok kârînin Kur’ân’ı, rızây-ı İlâhî’nin dışında farklı maksatlarla ve Kur’ân ruhuna aykırı tavır ve üslupla okuduklarına bu sebeple de harflerin mahreç ve sıfatlarına dikkat etmeden birçok hata yaptıklarına dayandırmaktadır. Ayrıca bu şekilde tilavette bulunanların seslerinde teganni ve terennümü ön plana çıkararak alelâde bir şekilde tilavette bulunmaları sebebiyle bu husustan duyduğu rahatsızlığı da belirtmektedir. Müellifin yaşadığı coğrafya Türklerin yaşadığı coğrafya olduğu için onun bu nadide eseri üzerinde yapılan akademik çalışmanın, asırlar öncesinde yaygın olarak yapılan hatalarla günümüzde yapılan yanlışların karşılaştırılmasına ve tilavette dönemsel bir mukayese yapılmasına imkân sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu şekilde kendi coğrafyamızda telif edilen Osmanlıca el yazma eserlerin akademik çalışmalarla gün yüzüne çıkarılarak ilim ehlinin istifadesine sunulmasının bu alanda çalışma yapmaya gönüllü olanların üzerine bir sorumluluk olduğu kanaatindeyiz. Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde müellifin ilmî hayatı başta olmak üzere yaşadığı dönem ve eserleri konu edilmiştir. İkinci bölümünde eserin ana konusunu teşkil eden harflerin mahreçlerinin anlatıldığı yerlerde sıfatlarına da sadece ismen değinilmiş olup mahiyeti hakkında ayrıntıya girilmediğinden “Sıfâtü’l-Hurûf” konuları müstakil olarak ayrı bir bölüm halinde ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise müellifin mezkûr eseri, Kur’ân harflerinin mahreci bağlamında akademik bir üslupla ele alınarak harflerin fonetik yapıları ve eda keyfiyetleri tahlil edilmiştir.In this study, we aim to examine the phonetic structures and pronunciation qualities of the articulation points of the letters of the Qur'an within the discipline of Tajweed (the science of Quranic recitation) both technically and practically, as well as theoretically, in an academic style. The focus is on the work "Vesîletü'l-İtkân fî Şerhi Rusûhi'l-Lisân fî Hurûfi'l-Qur'ân" by Hamdullah b. Hayreddin (d. 983/1575), a prominent Quran recitation scholar who lived in the 16th century, considered the golden age of the Ottoman Empire, and who was famous as "The Preacher of Hagia Sophia" for serving as the Friday preacher at the Hagia Sophia Mosque for many years. The author explains the reason for writing his work as a response to the fact that many reciters of his time read the Divine Word with different intentions outside of seeking Divine approval and in manners and styles contrary to the spirit of the Divine Word. This led to many mistakes during recitation as the reciters did not pay attention to the articulation points and attributes of the letters, and they emphasized melody and rhythm in their voices, thus reciting the Qur'an in an ordinary manner. The author expresses his discomfort with this disrespect towards the Divine Word. Considering that the region where the author lived was inhabited by Turks, we believe that our study on this rare work will allow us to compare the common mistakes in Quran recitation made centuries ago with those made by modern reciters, and will contribute to guiding contemporary reciters away from these errors. In the first section of our study, we focus on the scientific life of the author, the period he lived in, and his works. In the second section, while explaining the articulation points of the letters, which is the main subject of the work, only the names of the attributes of the letters are mentioned without going into detail about their nature. Therefore, the topics of "Sifat al-Hurûf" (Attributes of the Letters) are discussed separately in an independent section. In the third and final section, the phonetic structures and pronunciation qualities of the letters are analyzed in the context of the articulation points of the letters of the Qur'an.
