Dünya petrol piyasasının yapısı ve petrol fiyatlarındaki dalgalanmaların Türkiye ekonomisine etkileri

Abstract

Petrol, yenilenemeyen bir kaynak olması sebebiyle hem dünya ekonomisi hem de Türkiye ekonomisi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Petrol fiyatlarındaki değişimler ülkeleri bulundukları konuma göre farklı şekillerde etkilemektedir. Petrol fiyatlarındaki artıştan petrol ihraç eden ülkelerin kârlı çıkması beklenirken, petrol fiyatlarındaki düşüşten petrol ithal eden ülkelerin daha olumlu sonuçlar alacağı öngörülmektedir. Ancak durum her zaman böyle olmamaktadır. Türkiye de petrol ithalatçısı ülkeler arasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada dünya petrol piyasasının yapısı incelenmiş ve petrol fiyatlarında meydana gelen dalgalanmaların Türkiye ekonomisi makroekonomik göstergelerine etkileri ele alınmıştır.

Since oil is a non-renewable resource, it is very important for both the world economy and the Turkish economy. Changes in oil prices affect countries in different ways depending on their location. While oil-exporting countries are expected to profit from the increase in oil prices, it is predicted that oil-importing countries will receive more positive results from the decrease in oil prices. However, this is not always the case. Turkey is also among the oil importing countries. In this study, the structure of the world oil market is discussed in terms of both supply and demand, the effects of oil prices are examined, the effects of oil crises are included and Turkey's macroeconomicperformance in the period of oil crises is tried to be revealed.
