Muhittin Birgen'in Yeni Edebiyat adlı eserinde eski Türk edebiyatı'na getirdiği eleştiriler (inceleme-metin)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Muhittin Birgen'in Yeni Edebiyat adlı eserinin Latin harfleriyle sunumunu ve söz konusu eserde, Eski Türk Edebiyatı'na karşı yazarın tutumunu göstermeyi hedefliyor. Tanzimat ve sonrası süreçte Batı tesirinde yeni bir edebiyat anlayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Muhittin Birgen'in eseri ağırlıklı olarak edebi sanatları içermektedir. 19. yüzyılda edebiyat bilgi ve teorisine yeni yaklaşımlar söz konusudur. Bu nedenle yeni edebiyat anlayışıyla eski söz sanatlarının ne şekilde ele alındığı bu eserde görülebilir. Bu değerlendirmelerin bir kısmı örtük bir kısmı açıkça yapılmıştır. Ayrıca eserin ders kitabı olması bakımından temel konusu eski edebiyat değil, yeni edebiyatın anlaşılmasını ve ne şekilde bir yol tuttuğunu göstermeye çalışmaktır. Biz de tüm bu süreç ve gelişmelerin esere yansımalarından biri olan eski edebiyata dönük eleştirileri tespit ederek sunuyoruz.This thesis study aims to show that presentation of Muhittin Birgen's Yeni Edebiyat book with latin alphabet and the writer's attidude against divan literature. During Tanzimat and after that under infulence of West new comprhension of Turkish literature emerged. The book of Muhittin Birgen consists of mostly the word arts within Turkish literature. At 19th century there were new approachs towards Turkish literatrute' theory and epistemology. Therefore it can be seen how new comprehension and old word arts of Turkish literature discussed.The author discussed the topic of New Turkish literature word arts , also he criticised and evaluated the old Turkish literature with same perspective. Some those criticism and evaluations had done directly and the others done indirectly. This book was used at schools as a textbook. Main topic of the book is trying to show that how we should understand new Turkish literature development not the old turkish literature. Also we present the critisims against the old Turkish literature.
