The eye and endocrinology

Abstract

The eye is the window of the body and the initial finding or consequences of a systemic disease may first appear during an eye examination. The physiological changes in the hormones, hormone therapy for various reasons, and endocrine diseases cause some alterations in the eye. The interaction between the eye and the endocrine system will be summarized in this paper.
