Okul öncesi döneme yönelik peygamber hikayelerinin öğretmen görüşleri çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, okul öncesi eğitim düzeyine yönelik olarak yayımlanan peygamber hikâyeleri kitaplarının eğitimci görüşleri çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın temel odağını, bu kitapların çocuk edebiyatı ölçütlerine, pedagojik uygunluk düzeyine ve din eğitimi bağlamındaki işlevselliğine ilişkin eğitimcilerin görüşlerini ortaya konulması oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma desenine dayalı içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir anket geliştirilmiş; veriler Türkiye'nin farklı illerinde okul öncesi düzeyde aktif görev yapan 24 eğitimciden elde edilmiştir. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi tekniğiyle çözümlenmiş; kitapların resimleme, dil ve anlatım, değer aktarımı, yaş grubu uygunluğu gibi yönleri başlıklar altında değerlendirilmiştir. Eğitimci görüşleri doğrultusunda, yayınevleri arasında içeriksel ve biçimsel anlamda dikkate değer farkların bulunup bulunmadığı da incelenmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, eğitimcilerin din eğitimine yönelik kitaplarda materyal uygunluğunu ve tercihlerini belirlerken yaş grubu uygunluğu, içerik bütünlüğü ve kavramların somutlaştırılma düzeyi gibi ölçütlere önem verdiklerini göstermektedir. Bu durum, materyallerin yalnızca tematik içeriklerine göre değil; aynı zamanda çocukların gelişimsel özelliklerine hitap etme kapasitesi, pedagojik yapılandırılmışlık ve anlaşılabilirlik gibi çok boyutlu pedagojik nitelikler temelinde değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca bu ölçütler açısından incelenen yayınevleri arasında anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur.

This study aims to evaluate books containing stories about prophets published for preschool education levels within the framework of educators' views. The main focus of the research is to reveal educators' views on these books in terms of children's literature criteria, pedagogical suitability level, and functionality in the context of religious education. This study uses content analysis method based on qualitative research design. An open-ended questionnaire was developed as a data collection tool; data were obtained from 24 educators actively working at the preschool level in different provinces of Turkiye. The collected data was analyzed using content analysis techniques. Aspects such as the illustrations, language and narrative, value transfer, and age group suitability of the books were evaluated under headings. The content and form of the books were also examined to determine whether there were any noteworthy differences between publishers, based on the opinions of educators. The research findings show that educators prioritize criteria such as age group appropriateness, content integrity, and the level of concretization of notions when determining the suitability of materials and their preferences in books for religious education. This situation reveals that materials should be evaluated not only based on their thematic content but also on multidimensional pedagogical qualities such as their capacity to address children's developmental characteristics, pedagogical structure, and comprehensibility. Furthermore, significant differences were found among the publishing houses examined in terms of these criteria.
