Abstract
The study aims to examine the relationships between spiritual intelligence, God representation, and post-traumatic growth. In this regard, it consists of two main sections which are theoretical and empirical. The conceptual and theoretical infrastructure of the topics discussed in the first section was examined; n the next stage, the experimental data obtained were analyzed and interpreted. The research was designed as a quantitative research method with a relational scanning model. The population of the study includes individuals between the ages of 15-80. The research data was obtained from participants selected through random sampling. 55.2% of the sample group was female (n=218); It consists of a total of 395 people, 44.8% (n = 177) of whom are men. A survey form consisting of “Personal Information Survey”, “Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory”, “God Imagination Scale" and Spiritual Intelligence Scale” was used to collect data in the study. Data was collected with online assessment tools and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 28.0 program. Research findings show that there are statistically significant relationships between (a) socio-demographic variables and post-traumatic growth and development, (b) spiritual intelligence and post-traumatic growth and development, and (c) God imagery and post-traumatic growth and development. In this context, between self-understanding, which is the sub-dimension of spiritual intelligence, and change in philosophy of life, change in self-perception, and change in relationships with others, which are the sub-dimensions of post-traumatic growth and development; Positive significant relationships were identified between the compassion sub-dimension and change in self-perception and change in relationships with others. Negatively significant relationships have been identified between human values and change in philosophy of life. Additionally, spiritual intelligence has been shown to have a predictive effect on post-traumatic growth and development. Among the sub-dimensions of God representaitons, there is a positive correlation between love-oriented God representation and change in philosophy of life, change in self-perception and change in relationships with others, and balanced God representation and change in self-perception; Negatively significant relationships were detected between the dismissive God representation and change in self-perception. No significant relationship was found between the fear and punishment-oriented God representation and the sub-dimensions of post-traumatic growth and development. It has also been determined that God representations have a predictive effect on post-traumatic growth and development.
