Öğrencilerin bakış açısı ile tıp fakültesi eğitimi: III - Mezuniyet boyutu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinin mezuniyet dönemleri ile ilgili görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Yeni bir eğitim-öğretim yılının başlangıcında uygulanan bir anket ile öğrencilerin uzmanlaşma eğilimleri, tıpta uzmanlık sınavı hakkındaki görüşleri ve mezuniyetteki tahmini yeterlikleri araştırıldı. Öğrencilerin % 93,4 oranında uzmanlaşmayı düşündükleri, ilk sınıflarda tıpta uzmanlık sınavının devamlılığını istemelerine karşın; üst sınıflarda bu desteklerinin azaldığı, son yıla kadar sınava aktif olarak hazırlanmadıkları görüldü. Öğrenciler, mezuniyet sonrası zorunlu hizmet uygulanmasına genelde karşı olduklarını belirttiler. Anket çalışmasının sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerimiz gelecekte başarısız olma kaygısı taşımakta ve kendilerini değişik alanlarda eksik hissetmektedirler.

In this study it was aimed to obtain the opinions of medical students about their future career after their graduation from medical school. A questionnaire was given out to the students at the beginning of the new educational year and their tendencies for specialization, opinions for the election exam of specialization on medical sciences and estimated competencies on medicine after graduation were investigated it was found that 93,4 percent of them desired to get a specialized degree. Although in the first years of their education they were supporting the existence of the exam of specialization in medical sciences through the upper classes this support decreased and it was seen that til last year the students had not been preparing themselves for the exam actively. They pointed out that they usually had a resistance to compulsory service which was taking place following the school years. According to the results of this study, our students are apprehensive about their future and also feel themselves insufficient in different subjects of medicine.
