In the experiment, the type of the tomato paste referred to as Shasta, which is recommended for the Marmara Region, was used as the material. Five different doses of lead (0, 75, 150, 300 and 600 mg/kg) and cadmium dose (0, 2, 4, 8 and 16 mg/kg) were planned to be applied according to the randomised parcels experimental design in 3 repetitive fashion and in the way that there would be five plants in each repetition. The effect of different doses of Pb and Cd on the dry matter/substance productivity of a tomato paste is considered as statistically significant. While Pd and Cd applications enhanced Fe and Mn concentration in the tomato plant, they decreased Zn and Cu concentration hand. Mn and Fe content in the tomato plant increased at a considerable level when the heavy metal percentage increased. The reason for this can be that it could have been ligated to other ligands, or that the tomato plant might have had a different chemical activity content/context.
