Bursa kent çekirdeğinde rekreasyon ve turizm amaçlı ulaşım koridoru planlama yaklaşımı

Abstract

Kent merkezleri kentlerin en yoğun kullanıldığı bölgelerdir. Bu alanlarda kimi şehirlerde tarihi ve kültürel açıdan en önemli noktalardır. Bütün bunların yanında aynı zamanda kent merkezleri ulaşım sistemlerinin de toplandığı noktalardır. Bu noktada kent merkezleri yoğun kullanımları ulaşımı, turizmi, tarihi ve kültürü ile önemli değerlere sahip kente hizmet eden alanlardır. Bu tez ile kentin önemli merkezlerini birbirine bağlayan alanlarda turizm ve rekreasyon amaçlı kullanımlar ile ulaşım alanlarının fonksiyonları ve kullanım tiplerini belirleyerek bütüncül planlama yaklaşımları geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bursa ili, Osmangazi ilçesi, merkezi ve çevresi (kent çekirdeği)'nde bulunan ulaşım aksı boyunca bulunan koridor alan çalışmanın materyalini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma alanı üç bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. 1. Bölge Heykel- Yeşil, 2. Bölge Şehreküstü- Heykel, 3. Bölge Kültürpark- Şehreküstü' dür. Çalışmanın yöntemi literatür taraması, gözlem ve kullanıcı anket yöntemiyle şeklinde gerçekleşmiştir. Kullanıcıların alana yönelik beklentileri, sorunları ve mekanın fiziksel ve sosyal özellikleri yönünden hoşnutluk ve yeterlilik dereceleri değerlendirilmiştir. Hem kent merkezi olması hem de tarihi ve turistik bir alan olması dolayısıyla yoğun kullanımları bulunan bu alanda kullanıcılar yeşil alan ve peyzaj değerleri açısından daha düzenli ve bakımlı ve yeşil alanlar olmasını tercih etmişlerdir. Ayrıca üzerindeki donatıların tarihi doku ile uyumlu olmasına rağmen turistik tanıtım ve yönlendirmelerin yetersiz olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Mevcut kullanımlar ve anket çalışması değerlendirildiğinde alan üzerinde bakımlı ve peyzaj değerleri açısından zengin yeşil sürekliliği olan aynı zamanda turistik ve rekreasyonel kullanımlara olanak tanıyan alanlar ile birlikte bir süreklilik gösterecek koridor planlanmalıdır.
