Adaptive capacity to green economy policy and environmental governance

Abstract

The environmental problems that the world is facing today are quite complex, and these problems are interconnected at the international level. For this reason, the implementation of a strategy that covers the main objectives such as protecting the environment, establishing the efficiency of resources, and the sustainability of social welfare is directly related to the effectiveness of governance mechanisms. In this context, it is important to consider the framework and adaptation mechanisms necessary to develop a sustainable green economy strategy with a collaborative and holistic approach. The approach to environmental governance, which is based on global environmental norms and offers a multidimensional perspective, aims to increase the capacity to produce solutions to environmental problems. This study aims to open the door to new perspectives in this field by addressing environmental problems that are not easy to solve and concern the whole world within the framework of environmental governance.
