Avrupa kültürünün Boşnak gençlerin din ve kimlik algıları üzerine etkisi (İtalya örneği)

Abstract

Bugün bütün dünyada etnik, kültürel ve dinî azınlıklar baskı altındadır. Bu tez Avrupa´daki Müslüman azınlıkların bu açılardan farklı bir konumda olmadığını ortaya koymakta ve özellikle gurbet amacı ile geçici olarak göç eden Müslüman azınlıkların toplumsal konumu ve kültürel sorunlarının birçok yönünü ele almaktadır.Din psikolojisi üzerine yapılan ve bir alan araştırması olan bu yüksek lisans tezinde sosyo-psikolojik metot ve tekniklerden faydalanarak, Avrupa kültürünün Boşnak gençlerin din ve kimlik algıları üzerine etkisini incelemektedir. İtalya'ya gidip yerleşen Boşnak gençlerin "kimlik" ve "dinî hayat" ile ilgili algıları ve değişimleri bu çalışmanın asıl konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Doğup büyüdükleri farklı ülke ve kültürlerde yaşayan Müslüman gençler için dinî ve etnik kimliğin ne ifade ettiği, kimliklerin oluşumunda dinin önemi ve konumu araştırmamızın temel sorusudur. Aynı zamanda araştırma, farklı bir kültürde yaşama, kendini arama ve kendini ispat etme süresince oluşan dinî kimlik problemini tespit etmek; böylece asimile olma gibi sosyal psikolojik problemler karşısında kendilerini koruyabilme ve içinde bulundukları topluma uyum sağlama imkânlarını ne derece gerçekleştirebildiğini ortaya koymaktadır.

Today all over the world ethnic, cultural ve religious minorities are under pressure. This thesis, puts forth that muslim minorities in Europe aren’t in different positions at these aspects, especially the social position of the muslim minorities that migrated temporarily and handles many directions of their cultural problems. In this master thesis that is based on psychology of religion and made as a field research by takig advantage of socio-psychological methods and techniques, studies “The Influence Of European Culture On The Perception Of Religion And Identity Among The Bosnian Youth”. The main aim of this study is the perceptions and variations about "identity" and "religious life" of Bosnian young people who went and settle in Italy. What does the religious and ethnic identity expresses for young Muslims that were born and grown in different countries and cultures, the primary question of our research is, the importance and position of religion in the formation of identity. At the same time the research puts forth, the determination of religious identity that is formed during living in a different culture, self-searching and self-proving; so that workers can protect themselves against socio-psychological problems such as being assimilated and how much could they realize the possibilities of adaptation to the communities they are living with.
