Correlation between live weight and body size measurements of belgian malinois puppies

Abstract

The Belgian Malinois, is one of the four varieties of Belgian Sheepdog. This versatile and highly intelligent dog is capable of performing many activities including tracking, agility, obedience and protection, narcotics and bomb detection work, search and rescue, herding and pulling carts. The aim of this study was to investigate the growth performance for male and female, survival rate, body size measurements and correlations between live weight and body size measurements for Belgian Malinois puppies until weaning age.
