Türkiye’de yayılış gösteren zehirli bir yılan türü Macrovipera lebetinus (Linnaeus, 1758)’un Helmint faunası

Abstract

Nisan 2007-Mayıs 2020 tarihleri arasında Türkiye’nin 14 ilinden toplanarak müze materyali haline getirilmiş Macrovipera lebetinus’a ait 54 örnek (27 ♀♀, 16 ♂♂ ve 11 juvenil) helmintolojik açıdan incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucu Cestoda’dan 2 (Mesocestoides sp., Ophiotaenia europaea), Nematoda’dan 5 (Pharyngodon sp., Paracapillaria (Ophidiocapillaria) sp., Abbreviata sp., Strongyloides sp. ve Ophidascaris excavata) ve Acanthocephala’dan da 2 (Sphaerirostris corvi ve tanımlanamayan Acanthocephala larva) helmint türü tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmamız Türkiye’de M. lebetinus üzerine yapılan ilk helmintolojik çalışmadır. Mesocestoides sp., Pharyngodon sp., Paracapillaria sp., Abbreviata sp., Strongyloides sp., O. excavata ve S. corvi türleri ülkemiz yılanları için yeni kayıttır. Ayrıca Paracapillaria (Ophidiocapillaria) sp., M. lebetinus (Linnaeus, 1758) için Dünya’da ilk kayıt niteliğindedir.

Between April 2007 and May 2020, 54 specimens (27 ♀♀, 16 ♂♂, and 11 juveniles) of Macrovipera lebetinus, collected from 14 provinces of Türkiye and made into museum material, were examined in terms of helminthology. As a result of the research, 2 helminth species from Cestoda (Mesocestoides sp., Ophiotaenia europaea), 5 from Nematoda (Pharyngodon sp., Paracapillaria (Ophidiocapillaria) sp., Abbreviata sp., Strongyloides sp., and Ophidascaris excavata), and 2 from Acanthocephala (Sphaerirostris corvi and unidentified Acanthocephala larva) were identified. This study represents the first helminthological investigation conducted on M. lebetinus in Türkiye. Mesocestoides sp., Pharyngodon sp., Paracapillaria sp., Abbreviata sp., Strongyloides sp., O. excavata and S. corvi species are new records for snakes of our country. In addition, Paracapillaria (Ophidiocapillaria) sp. is the first record for M. lebetinus (Linnaeus, 1758) in the world.
