    In this study the effect of artifical light to the gonads of developing cocks was examined morphologically, morphometrically and histochemically For that purpose 100 male Hisex Brown breed of chicks were utilized. Throughout the 20 weeks, various parameters, related to the developmental stages of the gonads in experimental group of chicks exposed to the artificial light 24 hours continuously and of control group of chicks exposed to the daylight only, determined on regular intervals were compared and following results were optained. As a result, the parameters associated with testis development, such as testicle weight average, breadth, lenght and also seminiferous tubule diameter average and its epithelial thickness average increased more rapidly in cocks exposed to the continuous light.
