    Anöstrüs dönemindeki koyunlarda ovariel aktivitenin medroksiprogesteron asetat (MAP) ve PMSG hormonu ıile kontrol altına alınması üzerinde çalışma

    Present study was performed on 30 Merino ewes for the synchronization of oestral cycles in Iate anestrous season. The animals were divided into 3 groups and MAP sponges was inserted into the vagina for the first group and MAP sponges + PMSG (500 Ul) was injected intramuscularly to the second group of ewes. The rest 10 ewes were served as controls. The jugular blood samples were collected, 3 days before the MAP applications, on the day of vaginal sponge insertiorı and 1., 2 .. 3., 4., 5. and 6th days after the end of hormone treatments. Plasma progesterone and oestradiol 17 levels were determined by RIA method. On the sampling days the rams were put in the groups and ewes in estrous were bred naturally. The laboratory values and clinical observations were compared with lambing results.
