dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, unix-xenix, novell çok kullanıcılı işletim sistemleri, bu işletim sistemlerinin RS-232 arabirimi kullanılarak bir PC terminal (iş istasyonu) üzerinden birbirine bağlantısı, aralarında veri transferi, PC üzerinden bu ortamlara aynı anda ulaşım, yerel yazdırma özelliği, xenix işletim sistemi için çoklu ekran kullanımı incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada ele alınan ArnetTerm ile, minimum maliyet ve minimum donanım gereksinimi amaçlanmıştır. Günümüzde bu işletim sistemleri arasındaki dönüşümlerde veri aktarımı bu yolla çok kolaylaşmıştır. Aynı işletme içerisinde olan farklı sistemler arası veri paylaşımı sağlanmıştır. Son kullanıcı bazında bu sayede tek bir noktadan aynı anda farklı 3 ortama (unix-xenix, novell, dos) ulaşma ve kontrol esnekliği sağlanmıştır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this study, novell, unix and xenix multiuser operating systems, the connection of these operating systems by using a PC terminal and a standart RS232 interface, data transfer between these operating systems, local printing and multiscreen usage of AmetTerm emulation program is investigated. The aim of this method is providing minimum cost and minimum hardware requirement. Nowadays, data transfer in inversion of these operating systems has become quite easy by using this transfer method and this method has brought the advantaged of sharing data between these operating systems which are in active use in a certain organization. In the end of users point of view it provides the access and control of the three operating system in an easy way.en_US
