| dc.description.abstract | Aydınlanma düşüncesinin ideali rasyonel bir toplum oluşturmaktı. Rasyonel toplum irrasyonel şeyleri reddeder - din, büyü, bâtıl inanç gibi. Ritüeller de bu kontekstte reddedilirler. Oysa ki insan, sosyal bir varlık olması gereği bir ritüel varlığıdır. Bu özelliği ile ritüeller insan hayatının vazgeçilmezidir. Ritüeller, Durkheim'ın perspektifine göre insanın kutsal karşısındaki davranış teamülleridir. Ritüelin bu özelliğinden hareketle; kutsalın ve kutsallığın tarihsel süreçte geçirdiği dönüşüm ritüellerin de dönüşümüne sebep olmuştur. Rasyonalite süreciyle birlikte önceki ritüellerin yerlerine yeni ritüeller ikame edilmiş; rasyonel/seküler/modern ritüeller irrasyonel ritüellerin yerine geçmiştir. Artık aklın, bilimin, deney ve gözlemin konusu olan şeyler ritüel formda karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu fikirleri sunmak için tezimi üç bölüm şeklinde tasarladım. Çalışmamın birinci bölümünde kutsal, düzen ve sembol fikirleri ışığında ritüel kavramını inceledim ve farklı ritüel tasniflerine yer verdim. Sonrasında ritüele ilişkin yaklaşımlara değinip insanın sosyal ve ritüel bir varlık olduğunu göstermeye çalıştım. İkinci bölümde rasyonalite kavramını ve rasyonalite sürecini tarihsel ve sosyolojik açıdan ele aldım. Bu bölümde özellikle Weber'in yorumlarına başvurarak modernite sürecinin aklın egemenlik süreci olduğunu ve anlamın bu dönemde buharlaştığını vurgulamak istedim. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise Voegelin'in perspektifinden hareketle kutsalın geçirdiği dönüşümü ve rasyonalitede ritüellerin aldığı görünümü inceledim. Çünkü Voegelin moderniteyle birlikte bir içkinleşmenin yaşandığını; kutsalın aşkınlığını yitirdiğini söylemektedir. Ben de bu temel düşünceden hareketle modern kurumlardan örnekler vererek ritüellerin yeni durumunu takdim ettim. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | The ideal of the enlightenment was to create a rational society. Rational society rejects irrational things ? like religion, magic and supersitition. Rituals are rejected in this context, too. Yet human-being, since it is a social being, is a ritual being as well. By this feature, rituals are indispensable parts of human life. Rituals, according to Durkheim's perspective, are behavior customs of human in the face of sacred. Starting from this feature of the ritual; the transformation of the sacred and the sanctity in the historical process has led to the transformation of ritual as well. With the process of rationality, new rituals have been substituted in the place of previous rituals; rational/secular/modern rituals have been replaced by irrational rituals. Now, the things that are subjects of reason, science, experiment and observation emerge in the ritual form. To present these ideas I have designed my thesis as three chapters. In the first part of my study, in the light of the ideas that are sacred, order and symbol, I have examined concept of ritual and I gave a place different ritual classifications. After that, I have mentioned ritual approaches and I have tried to show that a human is a social and ritual being. In the second chapter I have taken the concept of rationality and the process of the rationality from a historical and sociological perspective. In this chapter, referring to Weber's comments, I wanted to put emphasis on the fact that process of modernity is sovereignty of reason and in this period meaning have evaporated. In the third and final chapter I have studied the transformation of the sacred from the perspective of Voegelin and the ritual's view in rationality. Because Voegelin says that an immanentization has been occurred by modernity; the sacred have lost its transcendence. Moving from this basic idea, I have presented rituals' new situation by giving examples from modern organizations. | en_US |
